Trashy Trail Run Clean-up Event (Colorado)

Join us with Aravaipa Running and Friends of Cheyenne Canon for a trail adventure and trash cleanup event!

Go at your own pace. The plan is to head towards Marys Peak. You’ll go as far as you can in 45 minutes and then turn around. When we return to the trailhead, we’ll grab supplies to clean up trash at the parking lot and along Gold Camp Rd.

All are welcome! New to running or already a professional trail runner? You are welcome to join us! Hikers too! The idea is to get together, enjoy the outdoors, and give back to public lands. Please read the information below so you’ll be prepared for the event. Feel free to email info@trashytrailrunners.org if you have any questions.

  • The city of Colorado Springs requires all volunteers to sign up here.

  • Cleaning supplies and gloves will be provided.

  • Please bring water, snacks, sunscreen, and proper attire for running/hiking.

Trashy Trail Run Clean-up Event (Colorado)

Join us for a trash cleanup at Pikeview Reservoir in Colorado Springs!

If we're up for it, we'll begin with a 3-mile out-and-back run along the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail. Feel free to bring your bike if you'd rather not run/walk. When we return to the trailhead, we'll grab supplies to clean up trash at the parking lot and around Pikeview Reservoir. Please meet at the location on the Trail Map (link below)

We have coordinated with the city of Colorado Springs, who said this is a problem area for trash so come out to help!

Cleaning supplies and gloves will be provided.

All volunteers must sign the city's volunteer waiver form once they arrive at the event.

Trashy Trail Run (CO)

Join us for a run/hike and trash cleanup on July 16th at Gateway Natural Area!

Go at your own pace. The plan is to go to the reservoir and back, about 3 miles roundtrip. If you decide to hike, you can walk as far as you can in 20 min and then turn around. When we return to the trailhead, we’ll grab supplies to clean up trash around the park and river.

All are welcome! New to running or already a professional trail runner? You are welcome to join us! The idea is to get together, enjoy a run, and give back to public lands.

Cleaning supplies and gloves will be provided. Entrance to Gateway is also FREE for this event!

We plan to run 4 miles on the Hewlett Gulch Trail, 2 miles to the loop and back. When we return to the trailhead, we’ll grab supplies to start cleaning up trash around the parking lot and dog waste along the trail.

Welcome to our first official Fort Collins Trashy Trail Run event! We began our journey in Las Vegas and are looking forward to hosting monthly events in the Fort Collins area.

What is a Trashy Trail Run?

We’ll start with a 2-3 mile easy run. After our run, we’ll walk around the trailhead to pick up trash and dog waste.

All are welcome! New to running or already a professional trail runner? You are welcome to join us! The idea is to get together, enjoy a run, and give back to public lands.

The event is at Arapaho Bend Natural Area. We’ll meet at the middle parking lot on Strauss Cabin Rd between Horsetooth and Harmony. Cleaning supplies and gloves will be provided.

We are partnering with Aravaipa Colorado to host a Trashy Trail Run in Colorado Springs! We’ll do a 4-mile trail run and then pick up trash and dog waste at the trailhead. Cleaning supplies, sparkling water, and Athletic Brewing non-alcoholic beers will be provided!
